EVERLIGHT is ready for REACH

The new European chemical regulation, REACH (concerning the Registration, Evaluation and Authorization of Chemical substances), which came into effect on June 1,2007, imposes all manufacturers and importers of a chemical substance in EU, in quantities of 1 tonne or more per year, have the obligations to submit a registration to the Agency. Everlight Chemical had established a team worked on REACH conformity project since early 2006.

Everlight Europe B.V. (Netherlands) acts as Everlight's OR (Only Representative). It takes care of pre-registration / registration of all the chemical substances which is manufactured / imported by Everlight Chemical. Everlight Chemical is to pre-register all phase-in substances imported into Europe by 30 Nov 2008.

Everlight Chemical will take part in SIEF and get everything ready for registration after finishing pre-registration. Everlight Chemical assures you that before 2018 none of Everlight products will be withdrawn from European market because of REACH. If any products need to be withdrawn, we will inform you at least 2 years before withdrawal, and recommend you with alternative solutions.

ECHA will announce the SVHC list according to article58 of REACH by 1 June 2009. If our product contains any of substances in the SVHC list above a concentration of 0.1% (w/w), we will inform you the required information, and recommend you with alternative solutions.
